This week is film week and are having great fun creating our own crime films.

Monday 

Today we learnt about the different crime genres that we will be using. 

Film Noir 

Suspense 

Courtroom Drama 

Thriller 

Afterwards, we planned our own films using storyboards. We tried to use as many of the techniques that we learnt about this morning. 

Tuesday 

Today we learnt about different shot types, how to take them and the effect they have on the viewer. We had lots of fun experimenting when taking them. 

We looked at our storyboard and carefully planned when we would use each shot type. 

We also got to watch some videos to spot the different shot types and angles. 

In the afternoon, we designed our characters' costumes and the props we would use.
