To enhance the learning at Mission Grove we regularly organise trips for the children.

The trips support the curriculum and give the children first hand experiences.

The Assistant heads are the EVCs (Educational Visits Coordinators) at Mission Grove. This means that when a member of staff wants to take a class or group of children on a trip, they have to send all of the information to them. They then ensure that they have completed the relevant risk assessment; have the appropriate ratio of adults to children and that the necessary transport arrangements have been made. These details are then forwarded to Miss Jennings.

Once this information it is uploaded onto a nationwide system called Evolve, which logs all of our school trips and then a designated member of the Waltham Forest Education team agrees that all of the standards for a safe trip have been met.
