At Mission Grove we feel that it is important for children to have the opportunity to experience music from a wide range of genres, periods and places.

For this reason we celebrate one genre a half term (alongside the genres each year group studies in their music sessions), to allow children to gain an understanding and experience of a wide variety of music, which wil hopefully in turn lead to a love of music!

We have also introduced a Musical term of the month to ensure children understand how music is created and produced through the inter-related dimensions.
