    Today between 2pm and 7pm is the last opportunity to win points in the London Rocks competition. Remember points means individual, class and school prizes!

    If you need new books, please email and I will leave them in the office today. 

    Adam created Spiderman artwork and practised his money coins and 10 and 11 times tables. 

    Raya has been practising her money mental addition and subtraction and has solved puzzles and problems. She has practised her French colour description and researched spider plants. Raya also wrote an extremely detailed story about a magic seed. She included verbs, adverbs, speech marks and speech words. 

    Angelica continued her weather diary and practised her number bonds including missing numbers. She also wrote a story about a shark who was preventing some birds from swimming. 

    Abdullah has practised his al and all joins and his number bonds. He also wrote a detailed story about a family of dragons and an evil king.

    WOW! So far we have scored over 20,000 TTRockstars points. Keep it up as the LondonRocks competition is happening between 2 and 7 this week. 

    Remember to email me if you would like any new books as I can put them at the office. 

    Raya has been practising her al and all handwriting joins. She has also created a beautiful weather word and picture bank and showed her understanding of animals and their habitats. Raya solved lots of mathematical puzzles and problems to find who stole the daffodil and can find the missing number.

    Hello, I am in school this week so I can sort any books you need if you email me. 

    Uzair has been practising his 3 times tables out of order and his division facts in order. He has been practising his spellings and has identified the simple and progressive past, present and future tenses. 

    Angelica has been practising her al and all joins and has started her weather diary. She knows about some animals, their habitats and the needs of the animal that this habitat can provide for. 

    Abdullah thought very carefully about what he would do if he was invisible. He recorded himself discussing this with actions. 

    Rayn wrote about what he would do if he was invisible. He also used alliteration and described Granny Possum. Rayan has written a very detailed information text about snakes and has also been measuring capacity online. 

    Saim created a lovely Father's Day letter.

    Well done Chaffinches - we won this week's TTRockstars competition. 

    Super well done to Muhammad Mahir, who earned us 7,597, Rayan, who earned 6,713, and Adam, who earned 2,538. 

    Next week, as well as our competition against ChiffChaff, there will also be the London Rocks competition happening. All the points that you earn between 2pm and 7pm Monday to Friday will help you win individual and school prizes. 

    Well done to those of you who have been practising your reading using Bug Club and AR. 

    We have read 187,214 words this week alone. WELL DONE!!!

    I will be in school with Year 1s next week so if you need more AR books, please email and I will leave some in the reception for you.

    Abdullah has used alliteration and when writing about what he would do if he was invisible, he used lots of conjunctions. 

    Adam has been practising division by sharing and grouping. He has also been working with coins and practising the 5 and 6 times tables. 

    Saim has written out a poem and has also been practising with money and measurement and used the greater and less than symbols. 

    Angelica created a possum puppet and Aboriginal artwork. She also wrote about what she would do if she was invisible and used alliteration. Angelica practised reading capacity scales and researched and wrote about Australian animals.

    Muhammad Mahir has been practising his ar and re joins. He has also been comparing cm and m measurements and describing a character. 

    Raya has been practising her French. She has also been using alliteration and practising her ar and re handwriting. Raya has compared ml and l measurements.

    Hello everyone. I hope you all had a great weekend. 

    Well done to those of you who have been reading this week. I have attached the number of words you have read in total this year. Some of you have been doing great reading during lock down but unfortunately some people have not been reading or doing AR tests. 

    Remember using your AR login, you can read books on myON. After reading a book, you can do an AR test on it. 

    Angelica identified the patterns in sequences and continued them. She also used some liquids to improve her understanding of capacity. Angelica practised the air, ar and re joins, read and answered questions about the Aboriginal story 'The Birth of the Sun'. She also created a story map of 'How The Birds Got Their Colours. 

    Adam has been reading a lot and practising his writing and artwork. 

    Saim drew a picture of a flower pot and practised his 10 times tables out of order. 

    Uzair practised his times tables out of order. He also practised his oa, ur, mo, tu, er and ir joins and created a list of words containing these letters. 

    Abdullah used espresso to practise his millilitres or litre capacity understanding and to compare capacities. He also created a story map of How the Koala Got a Stumpy Tail. 

    Raya answered questions on the Aboriginal story The Birth of the Sun. She also identified the patterns in sequences and continued them. 

    Ciara created a Van Gogh inspired painting.
