Hello Year Two!

Today is World Book Day. I hope that you are dressed up as book characters and are ready for your online learning.
The World Book Day Website has lots of free audiobooks, competitions and sharing stories and events. Today’s live event begins at 10.30 and you can also watch yesterday’s event on the website.

This year there are no physical book tokens but the pdf book token is attached at the bottom of the page.

 

Literacy
Today our Literacy lesson is based around World Book Day.

Today we will be using the properties of shapes to create Venn and Carroll Diagrams.

Create a bird’s eye map of our school or you home. Make sure that you include a key.

PE
Cosmic Kids has some superb yoga videos based on books. I will be trying this video which is based on one of my favourite books - The Twits.

Today we are looking at nocturnal and diurnal animals.

For your activity we would like you to sorted the animals into Nocturnal and Diurnal. And answer some questions. I have attached the worksheets at the bottom of the page.
